tovkc invites you to share an inspirational evening with nationally recognized guest speaker, Laurel Kadouri, as she takes us on an amazing journey.
 
Learn about the re-birth of Judaism in Eastern Europe and around the world.
 
Kadouri, an experienced tour guide, will take us around the world, from Israel through Diaspora communities over the centuries. Experience history as never before in this enlightening, inspiring, and entertaining presentation. Prior to the presentation, you will have the chance to enjoy beautiful art and hors d’oeuvres.

As part of our evening, you will have the opportunity to help Jews in Romania and Bulgaria through the purchase of Kippot from Manos Bendichas. Manos Bandichas is a group supported by the Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), a partner organization of the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City. 100% of proceeds from these sales will benefit Manos Bendichas.

Going Green at HBHA, the JCC and Beyond
Time TBD, Location Jewish Community Center Campus,

Join “Holkhim Yarok” (“Going Green”), an active student organization at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, to help the school and its families become more energy efficient, maximize recycling, and spread the news about Global Warming and how we can help prevent it. You will also help develop a blueprint for other Jewish organizations to improve energy consciousness and recycling at their institutions!

tovkc CSA News

Our second season officially kicks off in just a couple weeks in May with our farmer partners Klaus & Lee Karbaumer and the Karbaumer Farm www.karbaumerfarm.com.  34 new people are joining our CSA this year - Welcome new CSA families!

Our CSA is comprised of approximately 77 adults and 53 children consuming 41 half shares and 6 full shares of vegetables this summer!!
